If you have read my old blog posts you know my opinion about Berryz Kobo’s first single “Anata Nashi de wa Ikite Yukenai” (released on March 3. 2004). And now I want to repeat myself. This song is still and always one of the best songs Berryz Kobo has ever made. Big thanks goes also to Emperor Tsunku♂ who is responsible for composing and writing lyrics to this masterpiece.
So for me “Anata Nashi” is more than just a nice song. It was the beginning of a new era in Hello! Project. Although this song has quite a simple structure, it has the power and the rhythm that makes you want to dance and enjoy the beat. It swings and it hops. It sways and it stomps. Hey, they didn’t call that choreography formation dance back then!
This is The Song I never get tired of. I love it as much as I love Berryz Kobo.
I want to celebrate “Anata Nashi de wa Ikite Yukenai” and it’s greatness with a bunch of live clips from various BK concerts. On last video Momochi sings a ballad version of The Song. I almost cry when I watch it. So emotional.
And these captured images are from BK’s studio session when they were recording The Song.
